Gorgon formed in 1991 and were initially inspired by bands like Venom, Samael, and Impaled Nazarene. The first demo was 1992's "Call From Unknown Depths" followed by the infamous EP "Immortal Horde" in 1993. Their first album "The Lady Rides a Black Horse" was recorded in 1994 and released in 1995. It has become an underground Black Metal landmark for those who managed to hear it at the time.
